STRIKER Dele Adebola was at the top of his game on Saturday as he scored one, made one and generally caused mahem in the Coventry defence all afternoon.

The big striker was involved in a controversial incident in the first half after he clashed with Coventry goalkeeper Keiren Westwood in scoring the first goal, a clash which left the goalkeeper concussed and having to be removed from the pitch.

In the second half the striker laid in a goal for Michael McIndoe as City chalked up a 3-0 victory at the Ricoh for the second year in a row. The striker recieved much praise from his manager for Saturday's performance and was dscribed by Chris Coleman as 'probably the strongest player in the division'. He told the Bristol Evening Post that he was just pleased to be playing,

"I feel wanted at Bristol, the manager took to me straight away. I hardly missed any games so it's nice to be appreciated for what you are doing. I was appreciated at Coventry but not by the right people."

The striker also sent his appologies to the Coventry goalkeeper saying,

"I had my eyes on the ball, I've gone for a header and he's come and clattered me. It dropped kindly for me and I put it in the back of the net.

"As I've run off I've seen him on the ground, I didn't realise he was so seriously injured. I comitted myself and unfortunately the collision ended with the keeper coming off worse. There was no malice in it. Hopefull he's ok."
