Bristol City v Norwich

Last updated : 01 October 2010 By BBC Sport

Defender Jamie McAllister is a doubt for Bristol City after picking up a groin injury against Portsmouth.Boss Keith Millen could make changes, with Ivan Sproule, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, David Clarkson and fit-again duo Danny Haynes and Brett Pitman in contention.

Norwich manager Paul Lambert has an unchanged squad from which to choose.

Summer signing Steven Smith, who came on as a substitute against Leicester following an ankle problem, could again feature for the Canaries.

MATCH PREVIEW

Bristol City have enjoyed five consecutive victories against Norwich, who have not won at Ashton Gate for 30 years. But the Robins have been vulnerable there this season.

They have already lost three games there - as many as they lost throughout the whole of last term - and are the only side yet to record a home win in the Championship. Their only league win this season was a 2-0 victory at Scunthorpe last month.

The only other team in the division to have recorded only one win - and the only team below Bristol City in the table - is bottom-placed Leicester, who were beaten 4-3 by Norwich in midweek.

That was Norwich's third win in five matches. The Canaries, who are third in the table and have scored in all four of their away games, are savouring their best start to a season for seven years.
