Brusied bone keeps Brooker out

He will be out for a couple more weeks after a scan on his knee.

Rest is the only cure.

"It looks as though Brooks will be out for a week or two longer. He is not able to do any training at the moment because he needs to rest," Gary Johnson told www.bcfc.co.uk

"The problem is bruising of a bone. The capsule which provides a cushion between the bones is split and when the fluid runs out there is nothing to stop the bones rubbing together.

"Rest is the only cure and we will just have to take it day by day."

Better news on Enoch Showumni. There is an outside chance he might make the squad for the trip to Forest on Saturday.
