Leroy Lita gets a rest as City start with Brooker and Heffernan, Lita is sub. Marc Goodfellow returns to Ashton Gate on the bench. Dinning back in midfield but Tommy Doc is on the bench. Tinnion leaves himself out of the game but Scott Murray is fit enough to start. Danny Coles is skipper for the day. No place in the Peterborough side for Darren Caskey. Tinnion starts the game in the Directors box.

A minute of silence for the victims of the South East Asia Tsunami is impeccably observed by the Bristolian public.

Butler heads away an early predictably long throw in from Andy Legg. Brooker has a shot blocked after good work from Murray and Heffernan. Mickey Bells effort is saved by Mark Tyler. City win a corner that Tyler claims. Another City corner is cleared.

Andy Legg has a shot blocked by Tony Dinning. Bourenmouth have taken the lead against Brentford. A Danny Sonner free kick for Posh is cleared by Jamie Smith and the follow up shot is well saved by Steve Phillips but the flag is up for hand ball. Brooker has a shot blocked, City retain possession but Mickey Bells cross is cleared. A Murray cross is collected well by Tyler.

Steve Phillips saves well from Logan and Butler tidies up. City need to wake up a bit. Brooker and Heffernan combine well and Heffs shot is deflected for a corner. Luke Wilkshire crosses after a scramble from the corner and Brooker rises to score.

1-0 (Brooker 30 mins)

Dinning shoots just wide from distance. Good work again between Brooker and Heffernan sees Heff chip the goalkeeper to score.

2-0 (Heffernan 34 mins)

And Colchester are 1-0 up at Swindon! Bournemouth now 2 up on Brentford. Tranmere 1-0 up at Oldham. Swindon now 2 down at home to Colchester. Oldham have equalised and Hull go a goal down to Huddersfield but quickly equalise as a flurry of goals go in in League One.

Tony Dinning tackles well to prevent Boucard getting a shot in, the resultant corner is blazed over. Peterborough force a corner in first half injury time. City scramble it away. The whistle goes for half time with City in complete control. After a dull first half hour, City come to life and go in at half time 2 up.

2-0 Half Time

Sheffield Wednesday are a goal up at Luton. Things seem likely to tighten up at the top.

Clayton Fortune comes on for Tony Butler at the start of the second half. City force an early corner and Tony Dinnings volley goes high into the Atyeo stand. Steve Howard equalises for Luton and Colchester get a third at Swindon. Brentford get a goal back at Bournemouth. Branston has a shot straight at Steve Phillips. Hull and Tranmere take the lead against Huddersfield and Oldham respectively. Hull are level on points with "unstoppable" Luton as things stand.

Willock has a point blank header straight at Steve Phillips as the swirling wind causes City problems. Luke Wilkshire is caught offside after a good move by City involving Heffernan and Bell. Bell then concedes a corner again the wind causing problems. Willock is booked and City get the free kick moved forward ten yards. Mickey Bell takes it and his shot is saved by Mark Tyler.

Shrewsbury take the lead against the Gas . Bradford have also scored. Andy Clarke comes on for Andy Legg who goes off to his usual boos from the City faithful. Posh now playing with three strikers.

Tony Dinning shoots just over from 20 yards. Wilkshire goes down in the penalty area but the ref waves play on. Heffernan shoots against the hand of Arber but again no penalty. Murray gets through but the keeper saves. The Gas now 2-0 down and John Anderson has been sent off for violent conduct. Oldham equalise against Tranmere. Andre Boucard is booked for a foul on Mickey Bell. Again the freekick is moved forward ten yards for dissent.

City make a double substitution. Tommy Doherty on for Tony Dinning and Leroy Lita on for Steve Brooker. Andy Clarke is badly hurt Posh having used all their substitutes, but he is okay to continue. Phillips goes down injured, City have used all their substitutes and also have no keeper on the bench. It appears to be a blow on the head.

Lita attempts to cross to Heffernan but the keeper intercepts the ball. Posh break but Sonner curls his shot well wide with Phillips still looking dazed. Boucards free kick is saved by Phillips. A mazy run by Murray is thwarted by a sliding challenge by Guy Branston for a corner. A Clayton Fortune shot is deflected for another corner as we enter the final minute.

Lita just fails to connect with a Wilkshire cross and Heffernan is just beaten to the ball on the follow up. Lita then handles in the box. Peterborough hit the post from a corner but Steve Phillips has been fouled. City break and a Murray shot is deflected for a corner. The whistle goes for full time.
