The 18-year-old is primarily a striker but has also found himself employed on the left-wing in his fledgling career.

"I played up front all the time when I was younger and it is only more recently that I have switched to the wing," he told the club's official website.

"I'm just delighted to have broken into the side and I don't mind what job the manager asks me to do. It is all about gaining experience at the moment."

Myrie-Williams also explained why he had previously appeared on the City teamsheet as simply "Jennison Williams."

He added: "Myrie-Williams is the name on my birth certificate and it just got shortened as I was coming up through the youth ranks."
