Ferguson has told his team they need to concentrate if they are to beat City tonight.
AHEAD of tonight's Carling Cup tie between Peterborough and Bristol City, The Posh manager Darren Ferguson has remined his team of their need to concentrate playing at the higher level.

'Boro were beaten 1-0 by Southend in their first game in League One at the weekend and after their promotion from League Two Ferguson feels that it was a harsh way for his team to learn about the 'gap' between the two divisions.

He told teamtalk.com: "For large parts of the game at the weekend we performed well, but a few lapses in concentration cost us. I told my players that I thought it was a very even game and showed us we don't have a lot to fear this season."

Speaking on the clubs game against Bristol City, he said: "What's needed now is for our concentration levels to go up a notch from last season. That's how you beat top sides as we'll have to do more regularily."
