UNDOUBTEDLY unhappy with the way his side performed last night, Gary Johnson has called for his players to 'buck up their ideas' ahead of the club's game with QPR.

The City boss was extremely unhappy with the way his side performed in the defeat at Gresty Road and with one of the favourites for the Championship title, QPR, visiting Aston Gate at the weekend, Johnson is under no illusions that his side must improve. On yesterday's game he told the official website: "We only played for ten minutes and they outplayed us for 80 so they deserved to go through. The effort wasn't there tonight, our mental game wasn't good and the quality wasn't there.

"We've got to keep our heads up. We'll be disappointed when the draw is made on Saturday, but if we can go and beat QPR it'll make us feel better."
