BRISTOL City full back Jamie McAllister is looking forward to getting one over on Scotland colleague Gary Naismith when his side face Sheffield United tomorrow afternoon.

Both players were called into Scotland squad by George Burley as the Tartan Army prepare for their next round of World Cup qualifying matches next weekend against Norway.

McAllister's most likely competitor for the left back position is Gary Naismith who plays for Sheffield United, City's next opponents. The former Hearts player now sees this as a perfect oppertunity to prove his worth to the Scotland manager.

"It's funny how these things have turned out," said Naismith.

"Playing Sheffield United gives me a good chance to make an impression. I really do believe I have a good chance of playing (against Norway), hopefully a good performance and a result in Sheffield will help me"
