McFarland on today's game

"We have done very well there and performed well in our last two visits. We seemed to enjoy the big pitch there, though on our last outing on a big pitch we lost heavily at Nottingham Forest but created chances but failed to take them at the right times. But they also have wide men who can hurt you and we are wary of that threat".

Alan O'Hare sadly won't make it but Alex Bailey is back in training. We will have to make a decision who replaces him because of the pacey Murray who is usually their main threat on the right. We have tried out playing 4-3-3 in training and looked at various options, but will decide things late on Saturday".

When asked about Brooker and Orr's release from Prison McFarland said

"Whatever's happened Bristol City is a big club and they will put out a strong team and they have high expectations. Gary Johnson's settled in now but he's still under pressure for his players to perform and get the team into the Championship".
