COVENTRY City Chris Coleman said he 'expects' to be punished by the FA for his rant at referee Phil Dowd at the weekend but it appears that he was not the only one despertely unhappy with the performance of the officials.

Coleman was dismissed from the touchline after his side were turned down a penalty and former Coventry striker Dele Adebola had whacked into his goalkeeper causing him a dislocated thumb and to suffer concussion and today Clinton Morrision has added his voice of disapproval to the referee's performance.

The striker was the victim of the failed penalty appeal and he told The Sun: "I got blatently pulled back and it was a penalty, everyone could see it apart from the referee."

"He said he was at a bad angle so I said 'top referees should be at a better angle to him. The turning point in the match was the sending off off our manager. You could see my emotions on the pitch."
