Robins secure Caulker

Bristol City have secured the services of Tottenham defender Steven Caulker on loan until the end of the season. The deal includes a clause that enables the Premier League club to recall the centre-half after 28 days. Caulker, 18, has represented England at Under-19 level and had a loan spell at Yeovil last season. He made his first-team debut for Spurs in their 4-1 Carling Cup third round defeat by Arsenal last week. "He is very athletic, quick and has got a fantastic attitude," said City boss Keith Millen. "I think Danny Rose has put in a good word for us and it is good that we have got a good working relationship now with Tottenham. "Tottenham have got high hopes for him to become a Premier League defender and hopefully we can improve him and he can do well for us."
