NORWICH City forward Darel Russell says he and his team mates are all ready to take on Bristol City this weekend.

The Anglian side travel to Ashton Gate sitting in 21st place harbouring a winless streak of three. Russell, who was the club's stand in captain during their last game, a 2-1 defeat to Derby, is confident that his side can make the most of the week's break to get back to winning ways at the first attempt,

"We've been working really hard in training and the break's allowed us to do that," he told the official website, "Over the last week and continuing this week we've been doing a lot of tactical work."

Norwich will be hoping to banish memories of the late home defeat against County and relieve the pressure on manager Glenn Roeder who Russell revealed has been working hard to prepare his side for the game,

"We've focused on the coming games and we know it's going to be a tough week with the games we've got, but we're looking forward to it.

"Ideally you want to get straight back into the game and not have a break, but it gives us a chance to get back on track and find our winning ways.

"We're ready to get back to playing and we're all looking forward to Bristol this weekend now."
