Things Can Only Get Better

Yes I’m talking about our away form. We have only won one game away from home and that was at little Cheltenham town who at the time had not won a game all season in the league.
I’ve only managed to get to two away games this year. Plymouth was the first. Nice hot bank holiday and I was looking forward to the game. The coach journey was a total cock up. We ended up in sum crappy little place 7 miles from Plymouth. On the bright side it did have a pub but as always they wouldn’t let us in.

When we finally get to the ground I manage to keep the tradition that is still going today........Being searched at every city game this season.
From then on things just got worse. The beer was warm and crap, the pasties were cold and to make it worse we lost.

Then the next away game for me was the short trip up to Cheltenham where we final scored and won our 1st game of the season even though we were 1-0 down after 2mins.A peach of a free kick from Lee Matthews won the game for city. The game was an enjoyable day out even though I had to put up with 2nd may ranting on about how he hated Aaron Brown.

The win couldn’t even be ruined by stupid policing and the fact we were almost thrown out 10 Mins into the 2nd half.

City took a good following to this game even though we were so tightly packed u couldn’t breathe. I also think the “my garden shed” song was actually true!

The lads when back to being consistent by getting beat 1-0 away by Oldham. The problem with city in the past has been consistency but we have had little of that problem this year. We have won all but 1 home game but scored in every home game and we have lost all but 1 away game so as they say consistency is the key so u never know we may be champions this year!!!
