What was your first ever City match?

The earliest away to Sheffield Wednesday in 1970/71 I think.

Favourite all time match?

City 3 Portsmouth 3 Cole and Jackie produced a blinding display to start the season with. 1993 I think. Non City game Argentina 0 England 1 ,Sapporo 2002.

Favourite all time goal?

Geoff Hurst (they think it's all over) 1966 v West Germany.

Favourite all time city player?

Jackie Dziekanowski

How do relax outside of football?

No time, but I try to play a bit of golf, tennis and occasionally cricket.

What will be the first thing you will try to do as Chairman?

Carry on as before.Any change will be gradual.

What can you bring to the Chairmanship which previous chairman didn't?

I can't comment on that. Others will have to decide.

Could some money be found so that we could get Tony Butler in on a permanent deal, after his impressive month on loan?

The money situation is no different than before my appointment.Tight.we have always looked to accommodate those players Danny wants and will continue to do so within our financial restraints.

When Scott Davidson left the board promised to inject some money to the squad but since then there has been little to no signings?

No such promise was made. This is brought all the time and is just not true.Having said that considerable money has gone into the club since that time, some of which has been used to acquire players.

What would you like to see, a new ground or develop Ashton Gate?

Either.A new ground allows us to build what we need from scratch , but Ashton Gate is our home and can be redeveloped as we need to.

You said that you will not rely on the Academy as much as John Laycock did. Does this mean that you will give some for Danny to strengthen the team?

The cash position is as I stated above. What I meant was that I do not feel we should only rely on the Academy for players and should look for players from outside as well.

Some fans believe that the academy is a waste of money and we might as well downgrade it to a system like Cardiff or Plymouth have and use the money saved on the squad. Could you see the club losing the academy in the future to follow this route?

I believe in a youth development, and we shall always look to have the best.At the moment this is the Academy and will be for the forseeable future.

Do you ever see a point where city fans will be able to regularly occupy the East End?

No ,not until and if the ground is redeveloped.

Scott Davidson was liked by the fans by the way he would openly talk to fans in the stands. Do you think you will be this sort of chairman?

I have always done this.

And finally where do you see City in 12 months time?

In business and hopefully in the First Division.
