JUST six days before the start of the Championship season begins then as 24 clubs chase three slots for a ticket into the top flight of English football.

Six new teams will begin the 2008/09 season in the division this season all with different aspirations of achieving glory this time around. Here is a guide to what exactly has been going on over the weekend.

Transfers

Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of James Chambers from League One Leicester on a free transfer.

Highly rated Gambian striker Omar Koroma has joined Norwich on a season long loan deal.
