Johnson: "The fans contribution is important to us"

SPEAKING at a press conference in front of national and local media this afternoon, Bristol City manager Gary Johnson revealed that the club have chosen to decidate the clubs number twelve jersey to the supporters this season.

The fans has previously been given the number 31 shirt but Johnson said: "We've moved them up the pecking order if you like!"

"The support we recieve has always been vital and this season it will be as important as ever so we decided to do something to show them all this. It shows our appreciation to them really."
