"He is an experienced player and gives us an extra body which we need at this moment in time, with Jevo out for two weeks.
"Sheffield Wednesday actually tried to take him back after he finished his recent loan spell there but Coventry refused because he was doing too well, and didn't want him loaned out to another Championship club.
"That has worked out well for us and, as Wayne has already seen us play and was impressed by what he saw, we managed to beat a couple of League One clubs to his signature."
