Artus looking to the future

YOUNG midfielder Frankie Artus wants to emulate team mate James Wilson by becoming a success at Brentford - and then proving his quality back with his parent club Bristol City.

Wilson and Artus joined Brentford on the eve of the season and have both recently extended their teams for a further month after Gary Johnson told them both they are still very much part of his plans.

Central defender James Wilson has so far earned rave reviews in the West of London and while his team mate is pleased for him, he hopes to be able to do the same, despite an injury hit loan spell so far. Artus has so far played just twelve minutes of competetive football but could be involved at Griffin Park this weekend.

He told the Hownslow Chronicle: "James has been doing so well, and for me not to be involved is disapointing.

"I want try and emulate what he is doing and get in the side by playing and training well."
