Bell bemoans 'frustrating' international break

LIKE many other players and managers in the Championship, Norwich winger David Bell believes the international break has been frustrating for his team.

The winger made his first appearance for Norwich in their 2-1 defeat to Derby on the 4th October and has had to wait two weeks to be called upon again thanks to the international schedule.

With Norwich looking to put a consistent run together Bell feels that the international break has been an unwanted distraction despite the oppertunity for his club to focus on this weekend's game with Bristol City,

"It was very frustrating," he told teamtalk.com,

"I got my foot back in the door after my injury, I got a taste of it out on the pitch and I wanted to get some more game time."

On a personal level, Bell is hoping he will be involved this weekend and knows his side can get a good result against Bristol City,

"You can train Monday to Friday all season but it isn't the same.

"We need points and although the international break is part of the game and it's nearly out of the way so hopefully I'll be playing on Saturday."
