Evatt limped out of the action in the 44th minute and was replaced by Latvian international Kaspar Gorkss who is likely to continue covering after it was confirmed that the 25-year-old would be out of action for at least a week.

With the exception of Evatt, Tangerines boss Grayson has a full complement of players and will recall Irish winger Wes Hoolahan after he was rested for Tuesday's match.

Bristol City face a goalkeeper dilemma after Adriano Basso recovered from a rib injury.

The Brazilian, who missed the Carling Cup clash at Brentford in midweek after suffering the problem against QPR on the opening day of the season, returns to challenge Chris Weale and Stephen Henderson for the number one jersey.

Weale played in the first-round tie at Griffin Park after being recalled from his loan spell with League Two side Hereford while Henderson replaced Basso against QPR last week.

Defender Jamie McCombe (shin), midfielder David Noble (groin) and striker Steve Brooker (knee) have all returned to training following their respective problems but they will not be in contention at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
