Wolves hope the forward will play more matches at Ashton Gate, where he has signed a three-month loan deal.
Keogh joined Wolves from Scunthorpe in 2007 for ?600,000 and scored 23 goals in 88 games.
He has also scored in 14 matches for the Republic of Ireland.
Other clubs Keogh has played for include Bury and Leeds United.
