City wait on Skuse
Bristol City hope to have Cole Skuse available for the visit of Bolton.
The midfielder missed last weekend's defeat to Burnley with a knee injury but will be assessed after receiving an injection to boost his chances of a return.
Striker Ryan Taylor is also battling to be involved after returning to training following a broken collarbone that has kept him out of action since January.
Defender Lewis Nyatanga (Achilles) and strikers Sam Baldock (hamstring) and Jon Stead (groin) will have to prove their fitness after recovering from their injuries.
Sean O'Driscoll's side are eight points adrift of safety with five games to play and have lost three of their last four outings.
In the reverse fixture the Robins took a two-goal lead after just 21 minutes but were beaten 3-2.
Dougie Freedman could shuffle the starting XI as Bolton look to maintain their late play-off push.
Freedman has no new injury worries - Tyrone Mears (illness) and Keith Andrews (Achilles) remain on the sidelines, while defender David Wheater is targeting a return next week - but is keen to keep his players fresh as they attempt to take superb form at the Reebok Stadium on the road.
Wanderers' 2-0 victory over Wolves last weekend marked a seventh consecutive triumph on home turf, quite a contrast to one win over the same number of games on their travels following February's 2-0 defeat of Sunderland in the FA Cup.
"The players are looking forward to the games coming up, we have worked very hard for the last three months on the structure of the team and the way we play," Freedman told Bolton's official website.
"When players get thrown into the team like Medo Kamara, Danny Butterfield and Marvin Sordell, they perform at the same level and standard as everybody else.
"This next month is about detail and keeping the lads fresh. The players know the structure and what we are all about."
