Bristol City V Brentford at Ashton Gate - Match Preview

Flint banned for Robins

Bristol City head coach Sean O'Driscoll will be forced into naming a make-shift centre-back pairing for the visit of Brentford.

Defender Aden Flint will serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 1-0 loss at Crewe on Saturday, forcing O'Driscoll into changing his settled back four.

Brighton loanee Lewis Dunk looks likely to make his League One debut for the Robins alongside Republic of Ireland Under-21 defender Derrick Williams.

O'Driscoll may decide to shuffle his pack elsewhere on the pitch as they look to end a miserable run of 20 league games without a victory. James Wilson is likely to step onto the bench but Louis Carey is not expected to be involved.

Brentford have a fully-fit squad for the trip.

Midfielder Adam Forshaw had been unwell in the build-up to Saturday's 3-1 win over Colchester but managed to play for an hour and should be involved again.

Winger Kadeem Harris, who joined on loan from Cardiff on Friday, came off the bench to score on his debut against the U's and will be pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

Boss Uwe Rosler may rotate his squad with Toumani Diagouraga hoping for a recall after missing out on Saturday, while fellow midfielder Alan McCormack looks set to continue at right-back instead of Shaleum Logan.
