Bristol City V Dag Red at Ashton Gate - Match Preview

Robins to make changes

Bristol City will be forced into a number of changes against Dagenham in the FA Cup.

The Robins have not been granted permission to field loanees Karleigh Osborne (Millwall), Simon Gillett and Stephen McLaughlin (both Nottingham Forest) by their parent clubs so the trio will miss out.

Gillett and Osbourne started Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Crawley meaning head coach Sean O'Driscoll will have to make changes.

And the former Doncaster boss will also be sweating over the fitness of Brendan Moloney and Joe Bryan after the pair picked up heavy knocks in their first three-point haul at Ashton Gate this season.

Dagenham will be at full strength.

Manager Wayne Burnett has no injury or suspension concerns for the first-round tie at Ashton Gate and must decide whether to keep faith with an unchanged line-up for a third successive match.

Having beat high-flying Rochdale 3-1, Burnett saw his Daggers side edged out 2-1 at in-form Hartlepool last weekend.

Luke Wilkinson returned to the bench at Victoria Park having recovered from injury and the defender will be pushing to start in Dagenham's first-ever meeting with the Robins.
