Leicester City captain Matt Oakley is available again after recovering from a knee injury.

Miguel Vitor was injured in the warm-up ahead of last weekend's match against Derby and his thigh strain will be assessed ahead of this game.

MATCH PREVIEW

Last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Leeds United left Bristol City in the bottom three and came after a five-match unbeaten run for the Robins.

They now face another team that have enjoyed an upturn in their fortunes recently, although's Leicester's resurgence continued when they beat in-form East Midlands Derby 3-1 last weekend.

Derby were on a brilliant run, having won seven of their previous nine matches, so a victory against them underlined how much City have improved since the appointment of Sven-Goran Eriksson as manager.

The Foxes have lost only once in eight matches, and a delighted Eriksson - who is yet to experience a home defeat as Leicester boss - described their performance against Derby as "brilliant".
