Bristol City v Leicester City. Team news

New Leicester boss Ian Holloway will take the reins for the first time as his side travel to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City.

Holloway is yet to asses any injuries his players might have picked while up on international duty, but he will definitely be without Carl Cort.

The striker limped off in the Foxes' 1-0 defeat at home to Burnley last time out, meaning replacement Collins John is set to start in his place.

Club captain Stephen Clemence has returned to full fitness following calf and hamstring injuries.

Long term absentees Levi Porter (knee) and Elvis Hammond (ankle) both remain sidelined.

Holloway will be looking to pick up Leicester's first win in five against a side they have not lost to since 1992.

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson believes captain Louis Carey will prove his fitness in time to play.

Carey suffered bruising to the kidneys in a collision with Ipswich forward Alan Lee during the 6-0 defeat at Portman Road and has been unable to train with his teammates.

But the defender has been receiving daily treatment and Johnson believes he will be available to face the Foxes.

Carey's recovery will come as a welcome boost to Johnson, who is without full-backs Bradley Orr and Jamie McAllister as the pair both serve one-match suspensions this weekend.

Brian Wilson is likely to come in at right-back, with Liam Fontaine moving to left-back and Jamie McCombe returning in the centre. The Robins will also be without Jennison Myrie-Williams, who has joined Tranmere on loan.
