Brooker One Nil!!

The return of Steve Brooker could be wonderful news for Bristol City. He has hardly played for the last two years and his return, if he can recapture his form, will be like signing a new striker without the need to spend any extra cash.

He played for an hour yesterday scoring City's first and having another couple of chances well saved. Exeter equalised but Scott Murray got the winner from the penalty spot as City's "second first team" got a good run out. Gary Johnson was pleased with Brookers return saying that he showed "glimpses the Brooks we know". All he now needs is match practice.
