NOTTINGHAM Forest boss Colin Calderwood felt his side had 'alot to be proud of' after they survived a late penalty scare in a 2-2 draw with Bristol City.

Forest keeper Lee Camp denied Michael McIndoe a winning goal in injury time as City and the midlands side played out an entertaining score draw in front of a full house at Ashton Gate.

Joe Garner netted the opener which was equalised by a teriffic striker from Marvin Elliot before half time. Tyson, who set up the first, scored the second to end a scoring drought spanning from the beginning of the season before the game went to 2-2 as Liam Fontaine netted to give City hope.

The dramatic late penalty miss meant that the game ended in a stalemate, something which Colin Calderwood was more than happy with. He told the BBC,

"It would have been a total injustice had City scored from the late penalty.

"We controlled most of the game and I don't consider even a draw a fair result."

The Forest manager went on to praise his team's performance and singled out goalscorer Nathan Tyson for praise,

"Both sides went for it in the final minutes and the result could have gone either way. Nathan Tyson was always a threat for us. We have a young and developing side who are getting better all the time."
