"I've just spoken to Brian, who is naturally upset. He doesn't feel up to facing the cameras and the media at the moment and has asked me to attend the press conference," Landsdown told the clubs official website.
"In all honesty we were lucky the result didn't reach double figures. I'm sure it would be hard for Brian to put his feelings into words right now for the press.
"We have struggled at the start of this campaign and we have to think about how we can turn it around. That needs to be done with a clear head.
"There are no statements or decisions to be made tonight about anybody's future."
