Lita is fit to start the match with Heffernan on the bench providing excellent cover. No change in either tems starting line up, both sides having been victorious on Saturday. A late change sees Scott Golbourne take Luke Wilkshire's place on the bench.

Tommy Doherty kicks off with City attacking the Wedlock end as always.

Steve Brooker is fouled on the edge of the box. Joe Keith crosses and a scramble in the goal mouth leads to a corner. Scott Brown takes it but it is cleared. Simek crosses towards Fletcher who heads straight at Steve Phillips. City win another free kick as Doherty is challenged. Mickey Bell crosses straight at Neil Moss.

A Scott Murray cross just fails to reach Leroy Lita and he appears to be fouled but a goal kick is given. Coles defends well against Fletcher in a rare raid for Bournemouth.

Liverpool score against Juventus (for what it's worth).

Scott Brown thunders an effort from outside the area but Neil Moss saves for a corner. Scott Brown crosses from the corner and a Danny Coles effort goes over. Brown and Murray combine well and Brooker has a shot which bobbles through to Neil Moss. City manage to scramble clear a Bounemouth free kick but it only finds Wade Elliot who hits the post from distance. Stock has a good effort on the follow up well saved by Phillips for a corner. He then has another effort deflected wide. Scott Murray clears the corner.

Brooker goes down under challenge in the area but nothing is given. Simek clears with a diving header for another corner after good work from Murray and Doherty. Lita has alooping header just tipped over. Danny Coles goes close from the resultant corner, Neil Moss again conceding the corner. Joe Keiths corners are causing a real threat to the Bournemouth goal.

Hartlepool lead against Peterborough through Joel Porter. Liverpool lead 2-0 through a Luis Garcia wonder goal. Tony Thorpe has scored for Rotherham at Ipswich but they trail 2-1. Barnsley lead Wrexham.

Lita is fouled on the edge of the penalty area and City have a free kick. Joe Keith has a disappointing cross which Danny Coles can't reach. Murray crosses and Litas effort is deflected away. Bournemouth are getting a bit too much space on their left, the City right.

Hartlepool now 2-0 up through Anthony Sweeney.

Wade Elliot causing problems and his cross is reached by Fletcher but Steve Purches shoots over. Scott Brown is lucky to avoid a booking for a sliding tackle. Brooker is pulled back when through on goal and Matthew Mills is booked. City waste the free kick again. Fletcher finds Hayter and Phillips improvises to save with his feet, and Elliot fires the follow up high and wide. City win a 6th corner and Brooker heads wide. Lita shoots over.

A good first half for City but they need to capitalise on their chances because Bournemouth look dangerous on the counter attack.

HT 0-0

Peterborough have an early second half goal at Hartlepool but trail 2-1.

Brown finds Lita who turns and shoots but Neil Moss saves easily. Lita is fouled by Mills on the right touchline. Keith takes the free kick, Doherty flicks on but it beats everyone at the far post and goes for a goal kick. Brooker flicks on for Lita but he blazes over as Neil Moss closes him down. Lita just fails to connect properly with a header which goes wide. Wade Elliot is still making threatening run on the Bournemoth right and Doherty is booked for fouling him.

Peterborough have equalised at Hartlepool (ex-gas Calum Willock the scorer)!!

Bournemouth win a corner as Jamie Smith does well to tackle. Steve Phillips saves Wade Elliots shot. City are looking a little hurried. A Simek cross is caught by Phillips. A Fletcher shot appears to hit a City hand in the box but the referee gives nothing. Gareth O'Connor has a driving run into the City box and scores.

0-1 (O'Connor 60 mins)

James Hayter misses a chance with City on the rack. Good work by Brown feeds Lita but he shoots well wide. Dave Cotterill comes on for Joe Keith. Paul Heffernan comes on for Steve Brooker. Steve Phillips saves from a Spicer volley. Leroy Lita wins a free kick about 40 yards from goal they take it quickly and the chance goes. Heffernan flicks on to Doherty but Moss clears. Wade Elliot has a good shot well saved by Phillps.

Hayter out muscles Carey and crosses for Spicer whose header shaves the post in going wide. Cotterill has several jinking runs and eventually wins a free kick. Mickey Bell drives the ball across the six yard box but straight to Neil Moss. Just 15 minutes left, Danny Coles brings Hayter down in the box and Bournemouth have a penalty. Coles is booked. Gareth O'Connor scores.

0-2 (O'Connor pen 87 mins)

City win a corner after good work again by Scott Brown. Brown shoots over from 30 yards almost in frustration. Doherty crosses and Neil Moss carries the ball out for a corner. Cityy force another corner. Doherty takes it but it drifts out. Bournemouth Man of the Match Wade Elliot is substituted by Marcus Browning. Scott Golbourne comes on for Mickey Bell.

Hartlepool have drawn 2-2 with Peterborough.

Heffernan heads wide from a Cotterill cross.

An entertaining match for the neutral with both sides enjoying sustained spells of pressure. Bournemouth probably deserved their win with Wade Elliot shining for them. City yet again failing to put a run of victories together and will be fortunate if they make the play-offs now.
