BRISTOL City manager Gary Johnson refused to rule out the possibility of using the emergency loan market to sign another player.

Although Johnson failed to take his oppertunity to buy anyone before the transfer window shut at the start of last week, the City manager is rumoured to be weighing up his options, paticularily defensively following a series of injuries.

The manager is currently sweating on the fitness of Jamie McAllister and Andy Webster who he hopes will be fit for Saturday's game against Cardiff but already missing Jamie McCombe and Christian Ribero, Johnson confirmed he will make a move if 'the right player' becomes available.

He told the Bristol Evening Post: "Another loan signing is possible but only if we really need it."
