City game selected for Sky

BRISTOL City's clash with Wolves in January has been rearranged to fit in with it's broadcast in SKY television.

City host the currently high flying West Midlands side at Ashton Gate on 17th January 2009, with the game moved back from 3.00pm to 5.20pm to accommodate the television schedule.

Their appearance on SKY will be their fourth of the season, with a previous clash against Derby behind the, City face off against Southampton live on TV this weekend and can also be seen in action against Preston North End on November 29th.

A spokesman for the club said,

"We see it as a real achievement every time one of our games is televised.

"The financial aspect helps but it shows that the football we play is appreciated enough to millions of viewers across the country to be able to witness."
