Manager Brian Tinnion is keen to replace Leroy Lita who left for Reading last week and Lansdown believes that City are close to signing the un-named target man.

"I can't reveal the name yet because the deal is still being finalised," the chairman told the clubs official website.

"It is close and we are talking about a quality player who has scored goals in the Premiership so it's an exciting prospect."
