Bristol City are resigned to losing both Bradley Orr and Paul Hartley on the eve of the new Championship season.Full-back Orr, 27, seems bound for QPR while 33-year-old Scotland international midfielder Hartley has been linked with Hearts and Aberdeen.
"It looks like Bradley will be leaving the club," boss Steve Coppell told the City website.
Meanwhile, City are rumoured to be interested in signing Ipswich striker Jon Stead.
The former England under-21 international is expected to hold talks with City during the next couple of days.
Orr was left out of the side who lost 3-0 at Aldershot. "Brad is the kind of player I would love to keep at the club but he has a seed in his mind that he wants a fresh challenge," added Coppell.
"He only has a year left on his contract and that leaves us vulnerable."

Coppell was unhappy with his side's display at Aldershot. "This was very, very poor and I feel sorry for the fans who came here today.
"They wanted to see a spark and a glimpse of what might be in the season and that was very poor all round.
"We looked almost meaningless first half. If the players aren't aware of what they are supposed to be doing then that's my fault."
Coppell's pre-match plans were hit when defender Liam Rosenior, who is out of contract at Reading, failed to turn up for a trial with his former club.
