Defender On The Comeback Trail

The City defender, who underwent surgery on a troublesome pelvic/stomach problem last month, played the second 45 minutes of the Reserves 3-1 home defeat against The Grecians second string on Tuesday.

"It's just nice to have played a game of football again, McCombe told City's official website.

"I don't know how long it will be before I am back in first team contention, we'll just have to see how it goes."
