WALES and Coventry striker Freddy Eastwood as declared himself delighted at the way in which the midlands side have started the season - even though he admits he been 'lucky'.

Eastwood had an unhappy spell at Wolves last season and says he is just happy to be back playing and back scoring goals. He told bbc.co.uk: "I had lots of shots in the Aldershot game and didn't score. On Saturday I went to cross it and it went in, but I'll take anything."

His manager Chris Coleman recently praised Eastwood for his form describing some of his touches as 'class' and 'of Premier League standard'. Having spent most of last season on the bench Eastwood says he will get 'fitter and stronger' and believes the team can progress this season. He said: "We do not seem to start well," he said. "But we seem to be winning.

"I think we can play better as the season progresses and hopefully when we play really well, we will be on fire".
