SHEFFIELD United defender Ugo Ehiogu admitted he was a lucky man last night as his side came away from the West County with a point against Bristol City.

The veteren former Rangers and 'Boro defender was involved in the talking point of the game last night as he escaped a penalty being given against him when it appeared to hit his arm in the area.

Referee Rob Styles waved away City's appeals for a penalty but this afternoon Ehiogu admitted that his team's opponents, probably should have had a penalty,

"City should have had a penalty. I handled," he told The Sun.

He did go on to agree with Stern John however that the referee and linesman were in no position to make the decision.
