Gary on the win over Orient

"I asked the players to show their natural competitiveness because good players perform when there is a full stadium or an empty one.

"It was always going to be tough against a team in our own division and Martin (Ling) had said beforehand his team needed a win in whatever competition.

"They started confidently and we both had a couple of chances but once we got an equaliser we opened them up a bit more and in the end I was really pleased with the three goals.

"It was a great for Barry Corr to get his first-ever senior goal and he showed real persistence to make it for himself by charging down the keeper.

"And I was also pleased for Jevo who scored his first goal in a little while.

"The icing on the cake was Richard Keogh's nutmeg on the keeper when he showed how deadly he is with the ten-yard toe-poke!
