Reacting to dissenting voices from the supporters Gary said

"I agreed with everything they were shouting.

"Its a long time since we heard a reaction like that at Ashton Gate, but we can't say it wasn't deserved.

"Things that had looked good in training during the week were torn apart. We have a lot of hard work to do and I can only assure the fans that it will be done.

"We will be in for Sunday training and will look at the match video to see who affected the game and who didn't".

"There were some strong words said in the dressing room because we didn't perform. It was fair the crowd turned on us.

We hold our hands up and say (to the fans) you're right and look to turn it round for them. As individuals and as a team we didn't perform."

"It was a fair result. We could have been four or five up at half time so it was a body blow to go in at one each.

"But the players were a credit. I had a go at them after the Rotherham game last week, so to come out and play as they did showed great character.

"There were some tremendous finishes for our goals and only the supporters who are here will realise how well the team played."
