"It would be great to see Ashton Gate packed to the rafters for what should be an excellent game against Oldham," he told the official website.
"There is the chance for us to go top of the table because both Forest and Tranmere have tough fixtures. But we have a hard game on our hands too with Oldham going so well.
"I can see it being a fantastic match and let's hope sufficient people now view watching us play as a good day out.
"Positive backing is so important to the players and I can't stress too much how big a part our supporters can play in getting us to where we want to be."
