LESS than 24 hours ahead of the season opener against Bristol City, Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has been talking up his sides chances of achieving something this season.

Blackpool finished 19th last season avoiding relegation by just two points despite a brilliant start to their season they only managed to secure safety on the final game of the season. Like Bristol City, the Seasiders came up from League One in 2007 and now the boss is looking for his side to move on having made several changes to the playing staff for the 2008/09 campaign.

"Every time you move on a season you want to get better, you want to keep improving and I feel we've done that with the squad we've got available at this time," he told Blackpool's official website.

Grason has made no less than twelve changes, many of which are expected to be included in the team to play Bristol City tomorrow,

"I think the overall view of the squad is stronger, a little bit more strength in depth, and thats not disrespectful to the players that have moved on."

Bristol City beat Blackpool 1-0 at home and drew 1-1 at Bloomfield Road last year but Grayson is confident his side can get a result,

"They (Bristol) did every so well last season. We known each other very well from the two, three years we've been in League One together. They've kicked on a little but more than us though."

"Hopefully we will be able to pull one over on them," he continued.
