Hendersons Shots loan cut short

A foot injury picked up in training by Steve Collis has prompted City boss Gary Johnson to invoke a 24 hour recall clause in the deal.

Johnson told the club website: "We can't take any chances so we've recalled Stephen from Aldershot."

"He's done very well and we'll have no issues throwing him into the team.

"It's fair to say Aldershot were disappointed to hear the news but it's something we've had to do."

Aldershot Town had previously extended Henderson's loan until Thursday, 1 April.
