CITY boss Gary Johnson will have watched on this afternoon as QPR pushed themselves into a decent early position - but believes his side have nothing to fear in their bid for a second successive campaign in the playoffs.

Johnson saw his side draw with Cardiff City 0-0 yesterday as Wolves, Birmingham and QPR continued their great starts to the season. City's next opponents are the blues from the second city who visit on Tuesday, followed by their weekend opponents Doncaster paying a visit to Ashton Gate.

Although he did not emphasise it in his post-match comments, the City boss will known the importance of winning the next two home games if his side are to be in the top six come May. He told ITV Sport that he feels his team have as-good-a chance as any of being in those vital positions,

"After 46 games you are where you deserve to be and I think we can be right up there."

"We enjoyed our time in the Championship last season and theres no reason why we can't do it again."

City remain unbeaten but will go into the fixture at Ashton Gate with Birmingham looking for their first home win. He continued: "We're going to enjoy it again this year. We've just got to try and go one better, it's a big ask but we've got the belief in the whole club that we can do it again."
