BRISTOL City manager Gary Johnson admitted that his side's 0-0 draw with Cardiff City was a fair result as both teams continued their unbeaten runs.

A pulsating atmosphere at Ninian Park was present throughout but neither side could manager to force a breakthrough and both teams were forced to settle for a point. Nicky Maynard had Bristol's best chance when he hit the crossbar in the first half but the home side also created good chances which Jay Bothroyd was not able to put away. Considering the quality of the chances both sides created, the City manager thought that a draw was a fair result for both sides. He told the official website: "I think a draw was fair. I think both sides created chances, especially in the second half.

"I thought Cardiff started better than us but we weathered the storm in the first 25 minutes before getting back into the game.

"We only really had one chance in the first half when Nicky Maynard hit the crossbar.

"In the second half it was a much better second half where both teams went for it. It was a bit too open probably, but that's because both teams wanted to win the game.
