BRISTOL City boss Gary Johnson has called on his team to show that recent form highlights their determination to improve on last season's showing.

The West Country side host 5th placed Sheffield United tonight with both sides hoping to put themselves into the automatic promotion places with a win. United hammered Bristol City 3-0 less than a month ago and Gary Johnson has told his team that they need to play with the fear inside them of the same thing happening again and this will ensure it doesnt.

While United bounced back from defeat in the Sheffield Derby two weeks ago with a victory on Saturday, City stumbled to a 0-0 draw at Barnsley and after two wins against Norwich and Charlton renewed confidence in his team's chances of promotion, Johnson has called on his players to get again prove they can challenge for promotion in what is their second season in the Championship.

He told the Bristol Evening post,

"We have to keep it going.

"We have an opportunity to show how much we've improved and prove to people that we can compete with the likes of Sheffield United."
