THREE is obviously the magic number at Coventry for the moment - for Bristol City anyway.

City made it three wins out of three at the Ricoh by beating the Sky Blues, with a repeat of the 3-0 scoreline from last season. In the process the club moved themselves up to third in the league with seven points having won their third game in four.

Delighted by his side's win, Gary Johnson described the performance and the points as 'magnificent'. He told Bristol City World: "We obviously enjoy coming here because we keep picking up points. We tend to score plenty of goals and did not concede any."

He praised the way his side played and said: "The boys were magnificent today. You have to work hard and defend under pressure which we did. We created that many chances the score could have been 5-2 to us."
