Johnson not happy after Millwall defeat

Boss Gary Johnson told the players whet he thought and no he has to prepare them for Saturdays home game with Rotherham. Victory will earn promotion to the Championship.

"The lads have had their rollicking and I have upset a few of them. We will see how many come out with flying colours ready for next week.

"Me and Keith (Millen - assistant boss) have got a bit of work to do. We must get them to make more contributions in the game. Not enough of them contributed."

When asked what the players' reaction to the criticism had been, Johnson said: "They haven't had a chance (to respond). They were all disappointed and quiet and no one has got any right to come back with anything.

"We didn't really deserve anything and it wouldn't have been fair if we had won it on that performance.

"We have got a chance at home to Rotherham to set the record straight. We had some chances at the end but it shouldn't take until the last 10 minutes to get going.

"We were poor and I have let the lads know that. I have said we will have a big discussion on Monday and by Tuesday we will start preparing for Rotherham."
