Johnson believes his side will have to keep track of Argentinian forward Emmanuel Ledesma, QPR's latest 'showman'.
GARY Johnson insists that his side will not be intimidated by playing one of the 'best' sides in the division this afternoon and has heaped pressure on Queens Park Rangers by insisting that their 'demanding' supporters are expecting success.

City go into this afternoon's game on the back of a defeat against Crewe and having only drawn with Derby last time out at Ashton Gate. The former Yeovil boss feels that his side have what it takes to beat the travelling team but says they must cope with Argentine forward Emmanuel Ledesma.

The highly rated South American scored a brilliant hat trick in midweek against Carlisle and has been one of the bright points in an uneven start to Rangers performances in the Championship. Johnson said of Ledesma: "They (QPR) have always had good, entertaining showman-type players and that is what their fans demand along with success.

"Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles and Gerry Francis are that type from a previous era but they have started to pick up those types of players again. The little Argentinian is certainly one of them and we shall have to be well aware of him. He likes to come in off the right and smack the ball and is certainly one of their dangerous players."

Johnson said: "QPR have brought some very, very good footballers over the summer and they will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season."
