JUST five days ahead of his sides first game of the season, Gary Johnson has admitted that he 'could not be happier' with the way his players have performed in pre season training.

After coming so close in the playoffs last season, Johnson admitted that he knew it wouldn't be hard to get the players motivated,

"We've worked hard in pre season,"

"Coming back sometimes its tough but my players are extremely focussed," he told BBC Radio Bristol.

The Bristol manager repeated his delight at the 4-0 win over Royal Antwerp over the weekend and said: "We're so close. There's maybe one or two spots up for grabs but the rest are taken now. I pretty much known in my head the team that will start against Blackpool."
