BRISTOL City manager Gary Johnson could cap a fine year next month by picking up the annual Bristol Sports Personality of the Year Award.

The City boss has been shortlisted for his achievements in leading the Robins to Wembley and taking his side within a whisker of the Premier League.

Also in the running is Bristol Rovers frontman Rickie Lambert who currently leads the League One scoring charts, Chris Wood, the top scoring amateur at the Open in July and Somerset captain Justin Langer who's team came close to winning the County Championship title.
